Most (I do not want to say all) aftermarket belts are lilbit shorter/longer/wider/narrower than original Polaris belt. For example Carlslile 809 belt is shorter, and GoodYear Gatorback is wider than 3211115. Reliability of aftermarket belts MIGHT be lil better or worse, but belt dimensions (!!!) push you rebuilding primary to get proper belt-to-sheave clearance. With other words - choose the belt, and stick with it. Take in count immediate availability of these belts too.
What i did - made sure my clutches are perfect (serviced, aligned, etc). This is good guarantee of getting maximum mileage out of your belt. mine is on 800 Km already, and still good.
