Common M series issues and maintenance

we don't need no stinkin' sticky's, if you need to know something just ask!!! there is the first post at the top of the page...

Because XP's are pos's and need stickys for belt blowing, blown motors, broken chassis, when is the chip going to burn out so i can actually beat a Z370 fan cooled 121" track sled up a hill with 4 ft of powder, who wants to buy my pos XP, who wants to fix my broken down XP, who wants a job following me around on my XP and then pulling me home after it breaks down? Jk but theres some info in the sticky at the top, and a search will find you anything you need to know, but if it doesnt just ask and you will get a quick reply.

LOL, because there is no need for a sticky when you ride cats !! Sometimes I have thought of upgrading 01 summit to an xp untill I read the sticky on that page...YIKES. 2010 M8 is looking better all the time.

LOL, my point exactly !!!

There is quite a bit of information at the Top of the forum page already, and more to be added.

Not a whole lot of "Issues"

-Diamond Drive (Depends on year 07-08 seem to have the most issues)
-Secondary rollers (Stock Wear out, use Sledjunky's or Rocks rollers)
-A-Arm Bushings (Replace with Delrin)
-Sometimes you hear about the Servo Motor for the APV causing problems

Again, most of these are covered, and outside of a few select year these sleds are pretty damn stout.

The rest of the stuff is just fine tuning your sled with suspension setups (New Geometry, Shock Valving, etc..) Fuel mapping, clutching, adding a shift assist.....The list goes on
