Commander V

Just wonder if this is possible..With my turbo set up it runs awesome except when cruising around 50-60MPH at steady throttle, my A/F is 16-18...My plugs confirm this...Would it be possible to run a commander V with the auto tune and see if it will add a little more fuel at this crusin speed, then save this as my factory ECU map. Then just let the controler that came with the turbo kit do its thing. Just looking for ideas !!!!!

powerfuldodge,

The Power Commander V will only operate as a piggyback system paired with the factory ECU. It never re-flashes or saves the mapping to your ECU. The fueling changes are held within the PCV and only serves to take in the factory signal from the ECU - modify it according to your desired fuel change - and output it to the injectors. Once unplugged from the sled, the ECU remains stock and fueling returns to stock levels.

your going to find this is a very hard spot to get rid of, also, most stock sleds will cruise at this level if not leaner.

another thing that will happen is that at this speed with so little load you will get some reversion into your downpipe and this will show weird lean spikes that are nothing worth trying to adjust.

best advice is if your sled runs the way you like it in normal riding, dont just sit and cruise at that speed. just brap it every now and then and doubting your gonna have any issues.

This has always been an issue with o2 or egt reading, that light load part throttle looks like she is heading for the tow rope.
When you try to tune the gauge to look safe its almost flooding out rich.

check the plugs, flip the throttle and GET a boondocker EBC set your light throttle boost at 1 to 3 psi max and you ( like me ) will sleep better knowing its safe ( er ) at least makes us feel that way.

for the flatlanders that throttle position based controller is like a condom at a cat house.. you go without it you cant complain when you get the drip drip drip. GI joe Kung fu Grip !!!

tips:--under light load(cruising) aim to 14.2-.14-7 afr
--when the powervalves are opening, factory ecu kick timing up under certain conditions by +10 degrees (btdc), and that is one of the reason why you guys can't tune that area not being able to adjust timming with piggy and controller.

stock sled cruise at 14.2-14.7 ,2 or 4 stroke. cruise for 1 minute at 16-18 and it is tow rope 100% sure (2s) and for 3 minutes (4s).

Do you think your ECM will evey come down in price....For me the average Joe ride $2400 is a litlle pricey but for anyone doing serious hill climb , or some sort of drag racing it's lile the little miracle box, you can have the sled run on edge all the time with very fine tuning at your finger tips

our pricing for this type of product is realy aggressive, Motec for a M400 with expansion harness(not even plugin!!) sell fror 3800$ for ecu only and by the time you are done purchasing all the motorsport modules like:antilag, knock, lambda, launch control ect that we are giving for free, you end up at 6000$......so we are VERY cheap for this type of product. Also for now, 2 turbo kit manufacturer will offer a complete turbo kit WITH THE ECU under 5000$ this year.

On my pro, if i were to install one of these kits, what happens when i go to remove the kit and install the stock ecu to trade the sled in? What will it show for miles? will it give any error codes? Or will the dealer even be able to tell anything was done to the sled? I have heard great things about the push kits in the past.

milage will be the real one.no error codes with original ECU plugged back.Dealer won't see nothing. push kits is realy nice so is hm turbo kits, completely different perspective for both but very well put together for both and also amazing craftmanship.

So Push is coming with a turbo kit after all? I heard some rumors that said that Push was about to shut down.. And everything on their website is saying: under construction.. And it has been like that a looong time, maybe 2-3 years or so.

After making 1 phone call to dynojet, YES the autotune will adjust and maintain that adjustment to your fuel parameters as long as it is on the sled..

1 phone call..

I haven't seen one for the pros yet, but I got to ride their new tbbt turbo setup on a cat last year and it really is an amazing set up. Out of the box thinking for sure, but it spooled fast and made good power. That paired with the ecu on a pro would be a tough set up to beat.

Sounds nice. What turbo are they using?

Why would they wait? i mean people are starting to get ready now and deciding what to buy.
