Matt I'm down in south fork and in need of your guide services. We tryed to make it up to the mine today but only made it about 8 miles. It's only 5 feet deep on the groomed trail! Wolf Creek is reporting 93" inches in seven days!

according to the CSA site Willow and Park creek got groomed, Park Creek may not be goomed all the way to summitville due to the groomer being broke down in the middle of the trail just up from Fox.

We ran into the groomer when we were coming out, I hope he isnt stuck up there on fox? We are gonna try again in the morning to make it all the way past ellwood. Also heard that the EPA will be clearing the road to the mine starting the 18th.

In our local club meeting last night, the date stated was the 17th (of February)... which makes NO difference, they are going to plow the road..... and FOR WHAT you may ask...?...


to go in there and flip ONE fuggin switch on some pump they have up there... WHY they can't do it on a sled, who knows....oh wait, I do, it's Al Gore's EPA....

Difference is 2-5' of fluff most of the time, I'd much rather it not be plowed.

I'm with you except, how many times have we gotten the rigs stuck because it's not possible to get all the way up to the top.

sometimes we would have to go all the way to the mine to get big 4 place enclosed turned around, if a skier parked in turn around.

Matt was up in SLC riding with the Movie dudes I talked to him a few days ago. Said he had to catch up on some work after is "miserable" trip to SLC!

Ike, the only miserable part was hanging out in the emergency room for two hours while we could have been riding. I lost a fight with a knife in the pickup and had to go get stitched up. I wish they would plow that worthless road all winter. Like logger said, big waste of gas.
