Colorado Gimp Crew

Go back to work on the first....

No brace except when driving or during really strenuous activity. No more pool therapy all land now.

Feeling pretty good even with very few pain meds. Glad you are recovering also :D

Dam im jealous you guys are like two months ahead of me. I had All the tendons in my knee replaced on 4/20. Today was my first day of rehab. Got any pointers on how to not hurt myself, and not go DAM crazy?

At least the weather is better and you can get outside, rehab is a plus, my first three weeks are pretty much a blur, outdoor channels were my best friend til I could get out and about a little bit....real lucky to have a good woman taking care of me when I could not get around. I got pretty tired of watching TV, knees are brutal, if your up they swell up, read about every thread daily on Snowest when I was down, when I could get around a little bit the wife took me for a daily drive just to get out of the house, good luck with your mend.

Good to hear Boondock, out of all of the Gimp Crew you had the most brutal injury and I am glad to hear you are recovering and going to be able to get back to work.

Thanks man! Yeah it is/was pretty bad! Anything with the back is tough but all injuries suck!

Being young sure helps when it comes to healing.

I to have gone crazy with sitting around the house! BORING
I have had some friends take me fishing which sure does help. He is a fish from Thursday with my lovely brace lol

Very nice fish....good to have friends that put up with us cripples (lol) the wife and I went to Moab a few weeks ago, took our FJ out but had to hold back my urge to go anywhere serious for fear that I would have to be packed out again. I had a buddy get my sled in the shop the other day, been staring at it lately, sucks the season ended so early, need a summer project so will probably tear it down here soon.

Nice catch there, glad to hear that you are healing up good. Looking forward to doing some fishing with you this summer, just don't try any of that 4am stuff with me.:D

Nice crappie Kurtis! lol Life can't be to bad if you can fish:) Been years since I fished anything but streams, but I used to hit the lakes pretty regular back in Minnysoda. Should have a big reservoir (Glade) going in just down the road from me, sometime in the future. Fishing should be getting good about the time I retire :D Have a good summer and heal up well! Not really gimped, but I do tweak the shoulders every winter, though they do heal up in time for the next seasons carnage! Feeling pretty gimped lately removing beetle kill from the hood before the little bassturds fly again in July!

Might be time for a bigger saw!

Torn Patelar (sp?) tendon partial ACL interior tear laterally no surgery needed stuck in a brace for an undetermined amt of time.

Shoulder healing from surgery in NOV managed most the season possible retear on anterior portion of cuff may require another surgery since I just couldnt wait to ride :D

Gabe,
Vega will be fun...rode there this winter, had and epic weekend with your mom and Ed, like 3 feet of new snow while we were there. Wait til you get to off the crutches, its like starting all over again, every muscle in your legs aches, probably will be easier for you being a young buck though, keep your chin up.
