CO Sledders. Help us decide!

We stayed at the Midnight Ranch a few years ago and it was great. It's north of the Road House about 5 miles and has drive in ride out access. http://www.midnightranch.com/

Nice thing for you is it's at 7500 feet but still gets plenty of snow and the high terrain is a short ride away. You're pretty much riding the same terrain as you would from the Road House, just a little closer to it.

He has two big cabins, very well stocked and plenty of room. We stayed in the Angler.

We go there every year with all the kids and rent all three cabins. That road back out can be tricky sometimes, other than that it is a great place to stay.

Steve takes good care of us - we're heading up tomorrow morning. Whiskey Park Snotel says there is some OK snow up there right now....

Not to detour you from CO, but have you tried the Snowy Range?

No we have not. I heard there are a lot of rocks there. Is that true? We thought about snowy range and CO on the same trip.
