CNC PORTED NYTRO HEAD

Wow, that looks very impressive. I would like to hear some dyno numbers. I know that Hurrican racing was claiming about 20 hp more at 14lbs of boost with the porting than without.

Cost of Cylinder head assembled ready to go is $1700.00us

Includes:

CNC porting
CNC valve job
Head surfaced
Kibblewhite +1 valves
Kibblewhite valve springs

We will be doing a lot of testing here soon with our Nytro motor in a drag quad chassis, so we will have dyno results soon. I will also have the flow bench graphs here soon. Also have some cams that Paul at Impulse has worked on. From our experience with our raptor Turbo and some other Turbo projects is not so much huge Hp gains but quicker spool up and a lot harder pull through the RPMS.

so do you offer a core deposit?yes porting & cams make a huge diff in throttle response its almost like a n/a sled crazy fast spool up,i have both done on my sled. :face-icon-small-coo

The 1700 is the price to have your existing head built. We are working on getting a few heads set up to do an exchange program to speed up time needed to get you on the snow.

Are you doing the same on apex heads , if so $$$$

Looks good:thumb:
Looks like you guys did a fair amount of work in the bowl area. With most engines thats an area where there is some power to be had.
Keep us posted on the dyno results!

Whats the bowl area? :face-icon-small-blu

Its the area above the valve seat and can also be refered to as the "pocket".
Cleaning up this area usually improves the angle of the flow to the valve face. Also re-working the area just up stream or above the valve seat improves air flow when the valve is just starting to open.

Thanks! Im excited to see the Dyno results myself!

what about us n/a guys? would that help out at all?

This head would work awesome on a N/A motor especially combined with some good cams and some compression. Would like to see one go myself:)

I am an owner of an Apex with head work and can say throttle response as well as overall power across the board is way better

I have a full ported head on my nytro from Hurricane and the throttle response it stupid fast. My timimng is set at 114. For those of you looking for hp and response gain head work is the answer. I would be interested to see your flow numbers once you test the head. Are you planning on smoothing out all the areas, in and ext?
