clutching?

Is a M1000's clutch for 2005-2011 any beefier than my 2006 M7 clutch? I"m wondering because i want to put on a 900 big bore kit and I'm guessing i might need a beefier clutch as well.

1000 did'nt come out untill 2007. Their clutch will not work on the 700. 700 is a 33mm bore and the 1000 is a 35mm. Lots of big bores and turbos running the standard clutch

Yeah, if you're talking about the primary clutch it won't work. The secondaries are interchangeable. The M7 has a 10” sheave and the M1000 has a 10.5”, but you can run either, just need different belts.
