Clutching For trip to McCall (?)

Need a little help with clutching (possibly) with my trip to McCall in two weeks. never been to mccall or ID for riding, plus no one in my group rides cats (all xp/dragon dudes)

I live/ride in Western WA and ride the I-90 corridor mostly, with a few trips every year to Mt. Baker.

on average i ride 3-6K along I-90, but at baker is up to 9K (but mostly around the 4-7K ish area). i havent re-clutched for any of the rides to baker.

ive got a 2010 AC M8 SP 162 and pull 8050rpm all day here in WA. running yellow/white primary, stock orange secondary. glide washers for primary, shift assist for secondary. also running a 44/36p helix. stock weights (68g - i think, havent looked at them since i dissassy the clutch over the summer to clean)

do you think i need to make any changes? I'll be there for 4 days of riding so i wanted to make sure that if i needed to order any parts (weights, springs ect) i'd have enough time.

looking for honest answers cuz i know some people will be a d|ck and not be verry helpfull with clutching or clutch recommendations.

What day are you heading over there and where are you staying? There is a large group of us from the Cle Elum heading over the 22nd thru the 28th.

Give Kevin a call at 509-304-4591 and he can help you out on the clutching questions.

thanks for the tip, and numer. i'll prolly have to look him up.

this last week end it rained and made the snow very wet and heavy...so if it gets a good freeze than i would say you will be fine but if not plan on wet and heavy snow....

Clutcher...

No need to try and clutch ur sled, no new snow in the forecast. Stay behind me and poach my trac like u normally do (trac poacher) and u'll be fine. LOL:cheer2: and don't forget the crown, at least we can drink...

We quit being a Cat dealer in 2009, and i have a great set-up for that year. Im thinking the 2010 with the engine changes is quite different. We have a customer with a 2010 that works great so i might be able to help. Give us a call. 208-634-7007
