Clutching and pipe combo question?

So today I put on my wifes 600 SDI 144 a Straightline Performance pipe and can. So after install was complete I ran it (of course to hear it) on a stand. Well, the clutching set up for max RPM is way out of wack now. So On setting 1 it was hitting 8200 to 8400 and on setting 4 it was hitting at a point where the tach just started bouncing and the motor sounded like it hit a REV limiter. So is this a pin weight issue? To provide more details I live at 5000 feet and we ride at 6500 to 11,000 and during the run this morning it was about 35 degrees. Straightline thought the the stock clutch setup for this pipe and can was supposed to work fine. So what can I do to really drop those max RPM's to get them to a 7900 to 8100 level? Thanks for all the help!

Anyone???

Running this on a stand wont tell you if your clutching is right..you must ride it(no load on the stand). if it is set up to ride at that much higher of altitude then it will over rev at your home elevation...go ride it where you ride at normally to check clutching..most pipe kits require 2-4 gram heavier weights ...

Thats where I was leaning about running on the stand and all. Thought I could get it close and the really sad part is that we have ZERO snow right now. Thanks for your help
