My machine sat for a week, started it up and the sled started creeping forward? The belt seemed tight, its never done this before. Any ideas!

Check your drive spring, Sounds like it might be in two pcs.
that might explain the rattle if been hearing on the last ride...
on mine the spider unscrewed a little and was binding machine would creep foward and was harder thed normal to pull over when it started happening i opened the hood and gave the drive clutch gracefull kick it poped out started it up and got her home weights were rubbing and scraped the clutch
