How would Polaris prove that you got the notice to stop riding if the dealer or Polaris didn't send a certified letter? I know I would not let polaris off the hook for a damaged sled because clutch exploded when they had no proof I was warned !!

For my 9r today it’s getting a new crank, clutch, pistons. Thankfully the clutch broke 2 days before warranty expiration.

Mine still had the previous silver one. Picking it up tomorrow. Polaris covered everything including the piston kit.
In under a week... I count myself lucky on that.
Curious what clutch will be in there now. Black bolt and aren't there some other mods similar to the 2024? Idk yet.

Should be the latest version p22 with the forged spider. Mine was replaced on my carry over 2023 because I broke a cover bolt when I went to change the spring and that’s what I got. After 300 miles the spider is still tight on the splines can’t remove it by hand.

Evidently I got the last 9r crank for a bit as they are back ordered now.

Epilogue: lol.
The new motor made it 20 miles and spit off the oil pump hoses and another 10 miles before the end.

So here is a 2025 forged 9r unit for comparison.
