Clutch? Belt Removal

With this particular setup do you just backout the bolt to change the belt and remove the clutch? I thought the bolt would just back out to open the sheaves but the bolt is on pretty good and i didn't want to turn on it to hard if that is not the correct way to change the belt/remove the clutches.

You take the allen head bolt out and the clutch should come off the shaft. The piece with all the holes in it adjusts your belt deflection. Set it where it is good and then tighten the allen bolt to keep it set.

Yes, loosen the center bolt and use a "Drvie Belt Deflection Tool" (part#0644-412) to adjust the deflection or open the sheaves. Remove the center bolt completely to remove the clutch.

If you just want to change the belt you don't need to remove the bolt. Just twist open the sheaves and pull the belt off.
