Has anyone done the trip from Cle Elum to Jacks in the last few weeks? Im mainly curious about the last few miles down to Jacks.

It is a little on the scarce side of snow the last mile or so before you hit Jacks.BUT with the snow that's been falling you might luck out!

going to WJ's
Craig I own a cabin right down the road from WJ's (gold creek cabins) and was up there (at the cabin) prez weekend. Was on top of manastash ridge riding around bald mtn, manastash lake, lost lake and around tripod flats and back out around rocky saddle. Plenty of snow up high (as of Prez weekend) coming over into milk lake/pond drainage from the ridge, the snow is fine on the FSR 1708 some bare patches here and there but very passable. The crossover FSR 1707 was good up higher but as you get a little lower elevation, there are a few bare small bare spots here and there but also passable. The trail cutover to FSR road 1705 (spring creek) is fine as well as the road down to HWY 410 and WJ's. Let it be know that there are a little more bare spots down on the lower end of spring creek FSR 1705. Im sure there will be new snow there by this weekend. Oh hey i forgot to say that coming over past devils slide and down gold creek road, FS 1703 was also in good condition to the spring creek FSR 1705 Have fun.
