Chris Burandts Take on Production Pro RMK's

I could be wrong on the numbers, but I do believe in 09 Polaris sold 147,000 units (sleds) world wide. If Burandt's cost is over and above the initial they could "jack" up the price of every sled 10 bucks and pay him 1.47 Mil. I don't believe they are paying him even remotely close to that and if they were, I don't think he would be baby sitting people from Minnesota in Kremmling. I could be way off base here but that's just what I found.

I don't know how many Minnesota riders you have ridden with, but I can guarantee you that this Minnesota rider doesn't need a babysitter. I have ridden the mountains since the middle 90's every chance I get, and I push the envelope on every ride. Maybe we could ride together sometime and see whose rear end gets handed to who.

Everybody seem to focus on what Burandt gets from Polaris. Have you ever thougt about what Polaris get from Burandt? Can you imagine what all exposure in vids with burandt is worth?

It's a little like formula one. Ultra super duper high business. But in the end, for a car manufacturer, one of the best ways to use your pr budget.

I don't care what he get from polaris. I have heard he's a nice guy. And in my world you get what you deserve.
= x2

Haha! Set it up...

Peevo, that's a very good point. Something my friend and I were discussing last night. All these free riders that Polaris is picking up they are receiving huge recognition in anything from pictures to videos and press. Just the mere fact that this discussion is happening is good for Polaris. I think they (Polaris) as a company are getting back much more in return from picking these guys up then they had to put out for it!:first:

Setting up a ride sounded like a great idea, right up until the point you gave me a bad rating for a little hassling involving "flat landers"...:brokenheart:I've had numerous people from back east PM'ing me to know what the conditons are out west here. Fortunately I'm only a half an hour from the mountains so I go up regularly...not just a few "rides" a year "pushing the envelope" and I am always curtious and explain where they can stay, general areas to ride becuase snow conditions are not always the same on the mountain whether it be Wyoming or Northern Colorado. You're just another dork with a chip on his shoulder...:focus:
