OK boys and girls, here's the deal. My "population control at it's finest" post was in response to the, in my humble opinion, ridiculous practice of driving while texting. Then the name calling and insults began which put me on the defensive and detracted from the original intent of the thread which I believe was to get people to think before acting irresponsibly while behind the wheel of their vehicle. Sorry for not clarifying my stance in the beginning and allowing this thread to be run off into the ditch.

i personally think the laws on texting and driving have made it more dangerous. the reason i say this is because before it was illegal , and just speaking from experience here, you could hold the phone up on top of the wheel where you could atleast somewhat keep one eye on the road where as now its illegal you try to hide it so you hold it down in your lap which requires you to take your eyes completely off the road for a longer period of time. not saying they should legalize it again, just stating an observation. i don't k.ow how they're gonna stop it cuz people are gonna do it no matter what people just need to learn to use some brains which doesn't seem to happen much these days.
