Alright Mike,(aksnowrider) I may be busy with the racing, but I still get on here every now and then! Dvarmit, glad to hear things are falling in place for you. You will love it here, and with what you and your wife have for jobs, I would bet you will end up down here in the Kenai/Soldotna area sooner or later. Away from the crazies like Aksnowrider in Anc. Looking forward to meeting you.
Tim

lol..bout time you put in your .02 worth...hows life treatin ya big guy?....and just so ya know I already warned him about riding with ya...hows spike doing?and Loo too?

Spike had a horrible crash in Anc on Sunday. He was out cold and got an ambulance ride to the hospital. Severe concussion and a small fracture in his neck. We have State champ. races up there this weekend. I think I am going to let him race for points, but not for a win. Tone it down and ride safe, if there is such a thing! LOL. They have got me out there racing now too. Gives all the young'uns something to laugh at I guess but it's been fun so far.

I put 1,750 pow miles on my new Nytro last season. Went every Friday and Sunday as long as the sled wasn't broke and I wasn't broke. This year I will pass 2,000.

We'll be right there with ya ;) I think I only averaged about 1200 miles per season. Would love to break that this year. Maybe I'll have to start scheduling myself off Fridays too (until tax season).

Welcome to the best place on the planet. Unless you are planning on working right in Anchorage, come to the peninsula.......Kenai kicks a$$ and we dont have to worry about all the big town stuff. Great riding down here and little drive to Turny......

No doubt ! Gosh I'd love to live in Kenai ! I'd be fishing the kenai river all the time , riding lost lake , man you're lucky.

Yep yep this season is gonna be CRAZY...my work schedule is looking good, haha. I need to get a speedo/odo setup on my sled so I can see what I'm logging but I would think I got around 2500 miles in last year...would like to get 3000 this year..

3000? Our winters have been so bad the last couple of years I pushed to get close to 1000. Heck, 250 of the 1000 I put on were in two days we had a really good snow... (that promptly melted)

I hate fishing. I am so tired of all the RV's down here....:D I have never met you but heard a lot about you and the machine you were building last year when 22x bought my Phazer mountain for his son.... Lost lake is a blast, but I like carter more....less people...kind of a hidden spot.

On a side note, I went to Denali National Park with the wife on Saturday and we couldnt get up to the visitors center (66 miles inside the park via bus) due to HEAVY SNOW at Polychrome Pass. More snow than the plows could move in enough time to let the busses pass. I have got a GOOD feeling about this winter........EPIC!!!:D
