I thought we were just wondering on the head damage..

it was fairly obvious that it was damage earlier and not with current piston in that cylinder..

hope it ends up being a real winner for you..looks like a great project

I was trying to figure out if this head was the original head or not and why in the hell the dealer would find it necessary to pull it off. Either way, it does not appear to be blown up at all. I don't see a need to replace the head when I put everything back together? I guess I could find another one without the markings.

I would use that head after cleaning up a bit..
