Check out these "extreme" riders.

A trail sled has a lot bigger cooling system then your M8 does, on short runs like that with a break in between they arent hurting anything. Look at the people that grass drag for god sakes, at least theres some snow on the ground where they are riding.

if i was going to buy a used sled........i would rather have 1000 hard miles in the mountains, than one day of that stuff on the sled. there is no way those sleds did not overheat. no way. i have been up in 5000-6000 feet range, on my at that time new m8 and just cause the trail (atleast 5 feet) was hard packed, and a bit icey i was overheating. had to stop and pack the tunnel with ice. that happend more than once, and i have seen it happen to a number of sleds i rode with.

in those conditions i couldn't even imagine how bad those sleds were damaged.

Those sleds were not damaged one bit. Yeah a mountain sled in those conditions would have been ruined. But those short tracks with no lug tracks...not a problem! :D

x2 ^^^^^ that actually looks like a lot of "trails" at the end of the weekend. I'm about ready to ride mine if we get a "dump" like that.;)

LMAO!!! No kidding! I can't wait until we have that much snow...maybe we could go for a ride!

wow i thought the video was amazing...the even more amazing part is there are people out that do this....i honestly never knew, or thought. sorry for my ignorance. this just baffles me. better cooling systems???? no difference between my m8 and those short track m8s, and an xp153, and a short track xp. with smaller lugs, or no lugs it would actually cool worse.

Theres a difference in cooling systems between a 141" crossfire and a 153-162" M. The crossfire has much larger heat exchangers which is why a few guys have flattened crossfire coolers to put on their M's.

yep, not to mention the 8 or so extra wheels on the skids, the flat rails that most of them have and the fact that it is normally fricken cold out there. Not like the 30 degree riding we do here, all winter long.
