I heard from a reliable source that the road is open again. The over hanging rock has been blasted out of harms way. I sure missed riding there last season.

That reliable source is pretty excited to ride out there!!! It's funny the road doesn't look much safer with a few hundred foot drop to the left on the way out.... but at least there is a lot less rock that may fall on your head when driving through.
I DO ALWAYS recommend that you park on the front of the rock slide though. If it's snowing that thing could really be a BAD surprise at the end of the day with a HUGE pile of snow sitting on the road.... I can't believe no one has been stranded out there yet by a slide.

Ive spend a couple hours shoveling there with about 10 other guys. it does happen.
Well Chatter Creek hasn't got their webcam running yet but I was looking at the Golden skihill webcam and it looks like they are getting snow up high.
It sure would be nice if Gorman gets the snow of a couple of years ago.

We are getting snow, but it is up high. I'm as pumped as you guys are, but I'd have to say we aren't there yet... ha

My new Nytro isn't here yet, so I hope it doesn't snow too soon!!
