Change in Riding Habits Anyone?

Its got to be said, 3 little words that mean so much; RUN OUT ZONE.

Everybody talks about staying off of the big hills, but it is my understanding that the original 8 in this latest occurance were sitting at the bottom of the hill.

Yes we have changed our habits, but everyone knows that the danger is high, and we find ourselves in situations where we could have a hill come down on us. even the innocent looking hills can come down this year so don't spend much time in any runout zone. If it is 30 degrees or more, and no trees; you could be treading in a dangerous situation. That danger goes up as the snow warms from the heat of the sun.

Be safe folks, I'll try to do the same.

Too bad it takes this kind of thing to wake us up. We take chances often , yes even you Jeff C. There's avy danger just about everywhere. ..We'll be better, thank the dead for that. I'm not going to ride my regular sled this trip because all the mods. all the tweeking all the add ons....just to beat thy buddy. ..Well it's time to back off. Stock sled for me this time.
Jeff we can sit out of harms way and have hot chocolate.

Just want to add,,, like I said in my first post wasn't knocking any body. I under stand the adrenaline thing, I was involved in helping a guy who was spooling winch line on a small dozer and some how got one hand and one leg wound up in the drum............. It's good to hear that the avy courses teach not rushing in. May God comfort the famlies of those lost.
