Was not Interested In a $2500 chopper ride, so back in the next day on a bush fix mission to get it back out.

Clever fix. How did it hold up?

I think that’s normal wear glad I no longer have to worry about **** like this

So the TKI thing would not have prevented that one?

The green sleeve retainer on the tki plug would of kept it together

I have been listening for that grinding noises that Caper mentioned since I got the updated chain and sprockets. Haven't heard that yet but do hear a whine that wasn't there before.

That whine is normal for hyvo chains . Your old setup was a silent chain hence the name silent chain . You will tone out the noise after awhile.

Yeah that's normal for Hyvo chain. But your chain might be also too tight. It happens easily with Hyvo, people over tighten it as it was bubble gum like old Rexnord chain

Na it is just right. Been adjusting chains for a long time. One adjustment is all that is usually needed

I have not heard that noise since I changed my shaft actually. I believe not everyone had the potential for a failure.
