Chain/bearing replacement.

At 15 lbs boost how long can one expect the drive chain and associated bearing to live? Coming up on 3k and guessing its time to swap them out. Last trip out I noticed coming down hill there was a repetitive clunking sound coming from the drive shaft area and was thinking that the bearing was starting to let go. There was not ice build up and the noise was too close together to be a bump in the track.

Probably due to flip my camo extreme as well as the tips are starting to bend. Might as well redo the whole drive train.

2 bearings on drive shaft (speedo/chain lower side) jackshaft top chain chase bearing.

seals?

chain/gears.

Cant imagine the jackshaft-clutch side bearing is all that accesible to change.

Just wondering when others have swapped theirs.

i did the chain at 1600 miles and will do it again before next year. cheap insurance, the bearins i have no plans unless i see a sign they are due! i may put the top gear in new as i flipped it around this fall, not sure till i see it.

I piled up my case a few weeks back, the chain was around $200 the case was $250. the case was close to two weeks back order:mad: my sled had only 1100 miles on it. the bearings wear still in good condition so I left them.
