You might find a deal late spring but you will have missed all that riding time. If your buddy has a camso get one. That's a good price to get into the sport. And you have someone to help you set it up.

humm your right , i will probably put my arctic cat hcr for sale this week but the banking account is screaming . i just change my 2012 for new 2017 , did not pick up the 2017 from the dealer . warranty begin wen the ecu is unlocked . and there seam to be a lot of glitch to solve on the newer model . i just want to do my homework about those kit . there is a big money marge so must have big difference between them . camso kit hare they cheap designed kit or good kit for cheap price ? i will probably go ride with my friend a guide and rent one the next month if my ktm is not set up for snow .

If your buddy has a camso then that's what you should get. They seem to be a good kit and durable. Definitely not junk just because it is cheap, best value for the dollar actually

Another +1 for Camso! Priced good, good ride reports, and we're not hearing customer service complaints about them.

Haven't ever seen anybody mad at Snowtech MX, but all the other brands besides Camso have had their share of growing pains and/or slow getting kits and parts out the door.

Most all of them are making good kits these days, but I have to have my **** together to be able to pay for my snow toys. Doesn't seem like too much to ask from the kit builders to not make getting a kit a painful experience.

Camso all the way. I have about 8 days on mine and love it. It might not be the the absolute "best" kit out there, but it works well and is very durable. I weigh mid 260's and ride as hard as i can and have had zero issues. Keep track and chain tightened to specs and go play.

Yeti TS and Camso

We just had a day out swapping bikes with a variety of kits: Short version from my point of view. I have owned Explorer, 2Moto, many TS, UFO and now Yeti so have some experience.
Kits for the day: Yeti 129" (no RRS strut yet), couple TS short track, a 137" TS, 137" 2016 SX with TSS and 137" Camso.
On pure ice road Yeti best by far of any ski I have used including the TS with center triple carbide.
In 8 to 10" of wet snow on road: Yeti "really" bad, TS OK and the Camso good.
On bumped out road: Yeti best, next TS SX, TS short track, last Camso.
Results of doing climbs in 28 degree weather 12" of fresh almost powder, dogging stumps and downed trees: Compensating for 30 years age difference in riders the Yeti seemed to hook up better, next the TS SX 137" and the Camso 137" were too close to call. Short tracks had a tough day.
My Yeti on a 2016 YZ450FX sits higher than any other kit I have owned and I have put a lot of work into lowering it just to get toes to the ground. Maybe the RRS strut will help that if it ever gets here. Big decision of how much to pay based on what fine points you are looking for. Good strong riders seem to be able to ride just about anything and that leaves me out. I need every advantage I can get!

They are 129 but have the same contact patch as other 137s... Or so they say

Correction

Thanks, the old guy had a brain problem - 129" Yeti track. Too many numbers not enough brain cells!
