Carrying a pistol

This topic has been discussed many times before  with the outcome being many people saying why would you pack a weapon when snowmobiling? the other half of the community saying because we can. But me being on the other half I use a modified chest pack. who has popcorn ?

Carry extra clips also in case more then one yami needs put down........it must be the trail of tears in Utah...........dead blue bikes everywhere....

Funny cuz I thought the KTM's were Orange so you can spot them easier for recovery purposes. I'll bet you make SAP carry all your tools and spare parts just to slow him down.:face-icon-small-ton

No gun needed, you're riding a grenade. LOL

No amount of weight would slow him down enough for me to keep up. The guy flying the heli said we where hard to miss.......on the sleds......not on the bikes. KTMs never FAIL......

Mine is not carried for easy access, so I may be flamed, but my water bladder holder in my Heli-pro works great with my simple Uncle Mikes.

This year, my coat chest pocket will have my 9mm back up gun close and handy in a Nemisis pocket holster.

Ask Ericbigbore how he packs his. I think he has a foolproof method!!! LOL!!

Yah, that was a layup Rob. LOL

This is the gun I would recommend. It can sit in the snow and rain for 4 months and melt to the ground in 12 ft of snow and still look like this afterword. The best place NOT to pack it is on your rail.

Shoulder holster for riding. The mag holder on the other side balances out the weight, like it's not even there. Blackhawk cf paddle holster rest of the time.

The Bwear protective vest makes it difficult to wear a holster. I haven't figured out how to do that yet. I usually leave it in the back pack but we all know how that turned out for me.

Put the J-frame hammerless Airweight in my OGIO fanny pack to keep the Utah dust out of it last week. High speed moon dust!
