Carl's cycle 900 pro

Yes I paid 8100$ total for everything but I got a new crank and case. But if you use your case and crank the price will be 6000$. The kit is 4600$ plus you need the pipe and stuff. They have there mapping set up for the slp pipe so if you want it to work properly you need to run all the extras they recommend. And you need their clutch kit. They've tested all these things together for a lot of miles and the set up they have is what obviously works best

I think the total price with bolt on parts, clutch work was 6800 with them doing all the work. that is with a new motor in your sled. They know there stuff, assault is 100% right. they have the time on this motor and its set up. IT WORKS! having them do the work is a peace of mind that I can pay for. I have never been left in the mountains with one of Carl's big bores. Very Solid.

suitcase are you running any other mods on your 13 like a skid or shocks? How long do you plan on running this sled before you trade it in or sell it? I have never been that heavy into a sled and have been trading up the last 2 seasons on basically stock sled. Any mods(nothing like a Carls big bore) are pretty much throw ins when I trade.

My 13 will have just the stock skid, with Evol 2 shocks all the way around in it. I will more than likely keep it, like I have my 09 with the 860 in it. My son will be ready for it in two more yrs. He rides the 09 now. I keep building new ones and handing the last yrs model down to my wife and then to my son. My wife rides my 12 with the stage 4 in it. The next sled to go will be the 09, I don't plan on getting much for it. but I have got my moneys worth from it. Any way thats my sick way of thinking. I will ride the 13 for 2 yrs Im sure. then send it to my wife or son. It has worked out real well. I dont think I would of snowcheck the 13 if not for them putting in the belt drive. Dam Polaris any way!!
Your very right about the throw in any mods you do to a sled when you sell it. It is almost better to pull everything out and put it stock again. Shocks are easy to take off and put stock back on, even if you just sell them out right. I find it funny that the value of any mods that you do does not carry any real extra value when you sell it, to upgrade. Never have figured that one out.

Oh and plus it gives me two solid sleds for back ups when I wrack one up!!

my dad the same thing with me growing up. he'd ride it for a year, then me, then sell it. the first years hit is the worst so it didn't cost a whole lot more to keep it the second year. worked out pretty good, especially from my perspective :) :) :)

First Ride

Took the sled out for a good ride today. The thing is wicked. Fueling is spot on, clutching is spot on. The power is substantially better than a stock 2013 pro. I jumped off mine onto the 13 and couldn't wait to get back in mine. Now hopefully I can put my usual 2000 miles on this year with very little work. I love it so far. The skid and shocks are awesome. I've never ridden anything that rides the smooth through the whoops. With the coupling blocks on 1 it was still very playful. With the thermostat out it only runs around 100 degrees consistently

so if i already have a pipe and pcV, do all the labor myself, what would the cost of the kit/machining/extras run? i'd have to ship my upper case half to be machined but that would be a lot less expensive than sending the entire motor down and having carl's to all the labor. anyone?

I don't have the invoice for my kit handy, but I want to say 4700ish for the kit and machine work. give or take.

I would give them a call
208-853-5550 Chirs in performance, could give you a for sure on that!

did that include their labor to pull, tear down, rebuild, and re-install the motor?

I've got 100+ miles on it now, never missed a beat. It really started to open up around the 80 mile mark. Power is awesome. Very responsive
