Anyone running Carl's clutch kit on an 09 700 155? How do you like it?
My bro-in-law got one yesterday and had a few questions about it for anyone who knows about them... his is setup for sea level... Anyone with a sea level kit? What changes do you need to make to run 9000-11000ft? Both Springs? drop 4g in weight? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks :face-icon-small-coo

Any other mods to the sled?

I'm running a pipe mod and a high compression head, and I believe I am turning 63 gram weights.

Edit... I am going to have to check but I am 90% sure on that.

I don't know what springs Carl's is running but I am running the OEM on both.

Nope no other mods. We pulled out 66g OEM weights and put in 64g BB weights.Does that seem right? It also came with OEM springs...

With a head and SLP pipe/can, I run a 140/310 primary, stock secondary and MTX62's

I pulled out 58g weights when it was stock and it would pull 8100 all day with the 58's at that elevation.

edit: no weight in the tips of the mtx62's

learn to do your own clutching as clutch kits have to apeal to a number of differnt customers and situations, theres alot left on the table

I plan on it I was just curious if others liked the kit and if they switched springs or kept OEM and what they ran for weights. I'm new to belly busters and I was just curious what kind of drop you have for altitude with them or if it's the same as stock and what they started with at low altitude if anyone had experiences there...
