Really big joke! "It's a revenue neutral tax." Well WTF is the point in that, and what exactly will it be used for? Another good one was the health care stuff, they are going to do a survey to see where the money is all going. Well I can save a whole lot of time on that question, to group that will be doing the reporting, the hospitals administrators and staff. Yup, real big joke.
Don't forget the $100 rebate you get back once!LOL!
Is this a secret thread? How about some background info or a link for us who don't follow day to day politics in BC?

I hate how the government works, they hose you and me with this tax that will increase fuel by 3c a liter, but they are collecting like 70% tax on fuel which went from 30c to well over a buck in the last few years

Don't worry guys....I am 100% confident this tax will go to developing new technologies to combat pollution and "global warming." I'm sure it won't just be absorbed into the government machine and forgotten about.....definetly not an opportunist government cash grab that's an easy sell to enviro-alarmists, to be paid by working class joes like us. That would never happen....
Well this legislation is passing and will be signed by our illustrious Democratic governor. If the voters dont wake up quick and remove all of these whacko arrogant demo legislators and govenor they will find themselves in the governor republic of washington with no recourse. This legislation will cost billions, add thousands of new suckers at the trough government employees and require private business to create thousands of useless enviornmental jobs they must pay for. All of this in support of a total lie!!!! Swampy

Crap! I was sure we had the market cornered on communists in government.
gas went up 5cents a litre overnight.the tax hasnt even been implemented yet.i am not a fan of getting taxed on a myth.
