I need to replace the stock carbides on my polaris gripper skis , is there a better carbide than the stockers? I ride about ten to fifteen miles of trail to get to the play areas and most of the time we have wet heavy snow. Any suggestions?
Woody's carbides have worked well for me in the past, they're low cost, and come with new lock nuts. Unless you ride trail all the time just get 4" carbides.
went to the bergstrom web site and they recommend a 8 inch triple point carbide on the gripper ski and show tests turning on pavement. anybody try these off trail ? the stock carbide is only about 3 inch , would a wear bar with a four inch carbide be better off trail and on groomed trails? I dont ride much pavement
