Carb. Help

[ACE 900]

2003 600 HO. I am inquiring for a friend, please bear with me. His carbs. & crankcase fill with gas shortly after shut down. He can drain them & it will start & run fine, but after shut down will fill up with gas again. I suspect needle & seat, what do the experts say?

Not a expert here but your right along with float level being wrong??? Dino

Float sticking or bad (hole in it,cracked) or if it was apart put together wrong. Hell it may have come loose. My guesses

I'm not an expert either but I would say that you are on the right track. Dirt in the float/seat causing it to stay open or float level wrong. there should be an overflow on the carb that will flow out the bottom of the bowl when the float level is too high that is supposed to prevent motor flooding. At least there is on my 40mm's.
