Carb heat delete ?

While I have my motor sitting on my work bench i think I am going to get rid of the carb heat line. I NEVER use it, and it is a pain when i need to change jeting. It jsut gets in my way. Anyone else do this?

I just plugged the line and let it lay in the pan for the last 4 years.

i installed a shut off on my efi, runs way better with it shut off,cleaner on the bottom, doesn't load up..

Got three 05 KK's. Deleated carb coolant lines on all three, never a problem.

Well that settles it. Actually I was going to do it anyway, just wanted to see what you guys have experienced.

Pulled all the lines. Tapped the hole in the water manifold and screwed a plug in it. Plugged the bottom line and use it for a drain when I need to drain the coolant. Basically arranged it just like the 03's came from the factory.

while we are on this topic, i just put my motor back in, and was wondering where both ends of the drain hose went, i have one hooked up on the water pump and not completly sure where the other end is suppose to go, right know i have it hooked up to the water manifold, i know thats not where its suppose to be, just wondering where its suppose to be hooked up at.

I think that just laid in the bottom with a valve and plug on it.
