Can't decide on turbo kit! Help!!

So I got RB3 installed on my Apex now can I download different maps and try them with out losing what is already programmed in to it.It seems to run 11.6 wot but I dont think it pulls quite as strong as the purelogic box because I used to have to turn my boost down to keep off the rev limiter. At 2500' elev.Mabye just adjust fuel pressure?Starts better and idles better I noticed though.Any thoughts?

Add some timing, if thats Curts map, they likely pulled some timing. Whose old box? PM me.

It is pretty easy to do, just hook up your computer and download from rapid bike. then save the map that you have in there , to your computer. then you can load another map( one you can get from TY or from Dave) and see which one seems closest ,then tune from there. The Map in your box is curtis's map, so you might want to try adding a bit of timing or lowering the fule pressure a bit. Curtis does have a bigger turbo, and a 3inch down pipe, so he most likely needed a bit more fuel than you do. If you need anymore help, just give me a call or stop by.
Thanks
Jeff

What is all this LAG talk about the MCX...

rear mount kit. My old 1 ton, pulls seamlessly from idle to full boost, 13 at the moment. Maybe if I crank it up it will lag? I let my buddies ride it and they all liked it.

I suppose if you mean that it takes the amount of time from when I start to press the flipper till it hits the bar I suppose it does lag.

I had a big bore KK with twins that felt like had slower reaction to throttle changes than this old school carbed sled has. I suppose the custom cams that are it in it could have helped, or maybe the header, but I cant smile enough with the fit and finish of the MCX kit. Oh and I do ride it in the trees too.

the RB3s are only working to around 14 pounds powderlights will tell you that when you call them . a few people last spring and early this winter played with the RB3 and high boost #s with no success to speak of . you may want to call attuide industries they just came out with a new box that is better than the current ones

That's funny i hit 18 pounds with my rb3 on my nytro today but since you know that it is only good for 14 pounds i will take your word for it:o
