I work all across Canada and have come to the conclusion minority governments are going to be the norm. The way Albertans think versus Ont. versus the Maritmes is all totally different, not to mention Quebec.
What we need is a system where every province sends 20 people to Ottawa. Every province will then have the same say. Why the frenchies have 75 seats is beyond me.

Im curious on the % of votes. Everyone in the past loves to complain about Gov't but yet 30 some percent dont vote. Go figure
I've seen voter turnout numbers anywhere from 54 to 58%.
The most shocking event was the NDP candidate winning in the Edmonton / Strathcona riding.
It also makes me scratch my head that Ralph Goodale keeps his Liberal seat in Regina / Wascana. Some of those goobers need to leave the city every once in a while and take a good look at what really makes this country tick.

So the Liberals absolutely flopped, who else thinks Dion is going to be replaced? Out here in BC they got 5 seats... ouch I think Canada has spoken on how they feel about the liberals with Dion as the leader. Quebec, I wish they would just leave already, I for one think if they want to seperate, let them and good riddance.
No doubt. The line at the public trough gets way shorter if that happens. Look at the transfer payments made to Quebec and what Alberta puts in. It's a complete wash. Then they have the audacity to thumb their nose at the rest of the country? Take a hike at any time, please.
