Buddy just got a 02 800 summit 144 and wants to know if there is a reverse kit for this sled? I know you can buy them for a polaris 800, but I dont know much about ski-doo options.

There are mechanical kits available for the Zx chassis. They are not plentifull tho as RER was available soon after the chassis was released.
Hard to say if a new kit could be bought - but if so - you are looking at $700. Otherwise check in with the folks at the boneyards - like alssnowmobile.com for a possible early model wreck.

RER was available on snowcheck 2002 sleds.It is a pain to put it on(a non snowcheck sled) after though.Mechanical reverse is the normal way of adding reverse to that sled.
