Been snooping around looking for a good thread on Turbo Clutch set ups. Each vendor of kits has there own set up but no one is pushing the aftermarket kit. If you ask on this forum its a very short thread with a PM me for more info most of the time. I called a boondocker vendor last year about the spring issue and he wouldn't even tell me what spring they use with there set up as if that would even work with the set up I had. Found out later it was the same spring only a different diameter sprinfg was used but it had the same rate's.
So:
1). Who uses the team tied?
How did it perform over the turbo kits clutching?
What different helix and springs have been used?

2). Who uses other weights? ie. Belly buster MDS?

3). Who has really tested all set ups.

I know when I was breaking springs last year on my primary I asked a few guys about the problems and there was no real sharing of info on SW and I question weather it was ever really resolved?

Clutching is like skinning a cat. There are are many ways to achieve the same results. The guys that I have seen have the most issues are the guys that take a spring from one setup and put it with a helix from another and weights from a third. Usually run worse than any of them. The breaking spring issue with the pro does not seem to have a definate answer. Running the washers to allow the spring to move a little seems to help on mine but I don't have enough time on them to see yet. As far a clutch setups it really depends on what you want. I have a budy with a silber kit that run great for him but i probably wouldn't be as happy with. Nothing wrong with the setup just I am looking for something different(not better just different). Boodocking he would kill me but drag racing and short 20 bursts I would kill him. At this point I am going to try and move a little more towards his setup from mine.

Are the springs in the 2013 silber kit new, or are they the same spring that has been breaking? I seriously cant believe somebody has not produced a spring that won't break. Would titanium work? I would be willing to pay for it if I didn't have to worry about breaking a spring.

The 13 kit uses a different spring than last years kit, I don't have my kit yet to be able to tell you which one.

I would be very interested in a better setup, as both of my clutches get smoking hot.
