Camper generater ?s

Yup, honda Eu-2000 for me too! Awesome little generator, runs a LOT more than I thought it would, will run our smaller A/C in our camper and everything else without much issue.

this is the one i use 2400 W will run a 13.5 ac unit and everything else but not all at once.
it's an inverter type and will only rev up to keep up with the load and very quite.
at only 70 lb works great for camper (all the weight is in the truck) the 3000 is 130 LBS!

Another vote for the 2400 Yamaha, ours works awesome for our 13.5K BTU air conditioner on the camper.

As stated by others it won't run the AC and the Microwave at the same time, but that is not a big deal for us, I'd rather have a small generator that is lighter and I can move around easily. I also like the fact that it has a pull rope start, one less battery for me to maintain....

You can also twin up two 2400's I don't think anyone has mentioned that yet.

Well i bought the two honda eu2000i. They don't take up anymore room than the one 3000 watt. THey are nice and light and portable, can carry them with one arm.

If you run those Honda 2000s on full load all the time it will eventually just quit working. I have talked to a few different Honda shops and they see quite a few of them burned out because guys are trying to run their air on them all the time. Just because it will work doesn't mean you should do it Don't cheap out and buy nothing smaller than a 3000. Onan 5500 has my vote !
