Camoplast 3" AS A DEALER OPTION??

I'm not seeing the revelation here....wouldn't your dealer have installed a 3" track on your Pro this year if you were willing to pay for it? Or any time/year for that matter?

I think it will all depend on what the dealer network offers in price/features this for in comparison to the aftermarket.

My track was $950ish. (not center punched)
Avid 7t drivers.
trimmed rails
anti stab
9" rear idlers
off-set axle
clutching
HM Turbos adjustable limiter strap up front
moved stock limiter back to rear scissor (added a cross-shaft to attach it). It couples the skid. Poor-man's k-mod.
and LABOR.

THAT all actually came to $2065 or something.


make sure your snow flap doesn't get sucked in by track yet make sure it still catches the snow to keep coolers wet
add second set of scratchers on rails (I have not done this yet, but I'm going to study it)

With the center punch and center tooth AVID driver... no rail trim nor anti-stab is required.

The offset axle, 9" idlers, limiter strap, clutching are all extras on top of this...


The 7 tooth driver gears you down to effectively a 2.27:1 ratio with the stock QuickDrive and 2.28:1 with the chaincase. I'd like to see more in the area of 2.35:1... with proper clutching for your riding (mandatory, IMO, regardless of track or not).


I'd like to see your rear limiter strap addition photos in a new thread on that topic!!

Avid 7 tooth drivers-260
Ice age anti stab-115
Local machine shop did rail trimming and chain case mod-70

And I got 350 shipped for my track best 1055 you can spend on your sled

^ That's what I would likely do (if I had to have a 3" track that bad).....but there are lots of people who couldn't be bothered with the hassle. The price isn't a screaming deal, but it's not bad either. I bet they'll sell quite a few.

yeah if you dont have access to a good press, and i did mine with a large set of calipers so its about as perfect as you can get, its prolly not worth the hasstle i hate taking the skid off not very fun imo but am really cheap and picky and i dont trust our local shop to work on a lawn mower.

I absolutely would not bother, IMO.

The only reason to have a center punch on the track would be to run a driver that does not need the rails trimmed.

AGREE!!! If you ever ride in the areas where there is creek crossings with melted snow and water, the center punch hole in the track is like a 500lb anchor.

I like mine without thank you.

Great....Now Im going to have to put on a x3 this summer. PS, Action has a 15 pro set-up almost exactly like that on the floor right now for 13,800 I think. Eric

Stopped at Action on my way to Rexburg. $14,500 without the expert set-up($375) Cover ($215) Quick drive plate ($30) Skid plate ($99). Plus I have always gotten great service at Rexburg. It took three tries to get someone to talk sleds with me at Action. Just saying....

I know the dealership in town here has been putting 3" tracks on pros for a few years now. Mainjet motorsports. 3", turbo, whatever ya want.

Ya all shops do... but i was more looking at something like the service special pic on the previous page, with a decent price and would still be covered under factory sled warranty

The only difference I see compared to any other year is 1 minute on Microsoft word. Phone up whatever dealer you want and get a price. Warranty will be void on any aftermarket parts, but intact on everything else, and there is some dealer discretion in there. There is no secret sauce here.
