Was just at a dealer and they just showed me the notice that a 3" camoplast will be available. No details though.

Was just about to post this also, deal said 15 pro can come with 156,162,174 (3") lug. Not sure if its a camo extreme X3 or polaris own 3".

Wow! That's huge if it turns into a snow check option soon.

Very proactive of Polaris, if it in fact happens.

Yeah.....I was offered a 3" option for $900 more. Not sure if it was just my dealer option or if it will come from Polaris this way. So my dealer is Rexburg motorsports and I stopped at Action Motorsports today because the Polaris semi was there and they had ALL the new sleds there, and they had the Terrain Dominator 163" w/ 3" track. It looked awesome.....I only hope they will let me change my snow check. I'm thinking PRO 800 155 w/ 3" option.

Polaris track

Polaris offers the track as a accessory but must still get avid drivers and antistab kit from other suppliers.

So... X3 I'm assuming?

Was told for $1500 our dealer will swap your track to the 3". They keep the stock track but this does include the labor to install and drivers etc... Haven't got this 100% confirmed yet.

It cost me about $1800 to go to the X3 in a 156.
I did get $350 for my stock track....so net that out to cost difference..
Parts and Labor.

It does net a cost of $1450 to have a shop do it.

Just spoke with our local dealer and he said the same thing. Polaris will offer a 3" track as an accessory. It is not a snowcheck promotion thing. He didn't say if they would offer the drivers as well but obviously you still need to purchase them from somewhere.

On a side note, if anyone is interested in an X3, Tracks USA is currently offering free shipping.

OK ....so I am having Rexburg Motorsports quote me the price for a 156" X3. I will let you know what price I get from them. they originally quoted me $900 for a 163" X3 swap. So we shall see.....I'm expecting the e-mail tomorrow.

900 is insane. Buyer beware, seems fishy to me.

I don't see any way around it. Converting is going to cost at least 1500 no matter how you do it. But with that 1500 you can gain back some with the sale of the stock track.

To honestly do it right Scott was probably right on with 1800 to include everything and clutching.

And your looking at a minimum of 2000 if you have a chain case.

Guaranteed.

My track was $950ish. (not center punched)
Avid 7t drivers.
trimmed rails
anti stab
9" rear idlers
off-set axle
clutching
HM Turbos adjustable limiter strap up front
moved stock limiter back to rear scissor (added a cross-shaft to attach it). It couples the skid. Poor-man's k-mod.
and LABOR.

THAT all actually came to $2065 or something.

make sure your snow flap doesn't get sucked in by track yet make sure it still catches the snow to keep coolers wet
add second set of scratchers on rails (I have not done this yet, but I'm going to study it)

CANNOT ORDER AS A SNOWCHECK OPTION

You mean that you can order it with a 3"?

The center punched X3 track will NOT be available through the dealer network as a "Pure Polaris" (aka PG&A) accessory.

NOT a SnowCheck option unless something is changed in the future.

If you are buying a new machine... Your dealer, if you have a good relationship with them, should be able to offer a good price on this package including installation AND either give you your stock track and Drivers back OR ... give you a good credit towards the price (Say $400 minimum)... With a good deal on track and Driver, with install and a $400 credit... I could see the upgrade (track/drivers/install) costing between $900 - $1000 if you got a good price as a loyal customer to the dealer.... $1300 - $1400 IF they don't want a bunch of tracks laying around the shop and you get your take off back.
