camo extreame

If you just swap out tracks you will not have adequate tunnel clearance but you will have better performance. The reason for that is the challenger extreme is that good of a track. If you do a drop and roll kit you will have the recommended clearance and more of your engine's power will reach the snow. I pulled the track on my stock 155 and the top of the tunnel had more rubber on it the a drag race starting line. The CE track will only make the clearance issue worse. I just got my D&R kit from FXT and today I start cutting. I also got the straight rails and a 163 CE.
So, how much beer does it take to install the D&R?

:beer;:cool:

How much beer can you drink in 3 hours:confused: :beer;:beer;:beer;

yup iam waiting for my drop & roll getting the first avid billet chaincase made this spring were useing my sled for the prototype

3 hours?

I read the instructions and there is no way I can do it in three hours, three days maybe. I will keep a beer count and report back when done. I am up to one reading the directions.
That tunnel mod looks cool and strong, I went with the VE tunnel extension and it is a very nice piece.

OK

I would like to revise my estimate to three weeks. We got crap for snow anyways. While I'm at it I think I will repack the mufler bearings and powder coat the inside of the gas tank.

Aksnowrider, is that a tunnel extension u have on there? who's is it, how was the install, could it be put back to stock without a trace? thanks

I made it , its not an extention, but a reinforcment...its not done just getting close to sending it out for powdercoat...I pull loaded sleds all the time(50 miles one way into my cabin)and I have yet to have a stock tunnel hold up..so we either build our own or reinforce what is there..this one is built very heavy duty..1/4 in. aluminum, and besides eliminating the stock boards it raises the rear of the boards 1 1/2 inches,and actually so far is lighter then the stock stuff I removed(including the stock polaris steel bumper/hitch)I could make just the side peices which would be removable and leave only the rivit holes..I also just made a removable set for my buddies 2010 xp..will have pics up of it soon too(will do a thread about the whole process although with the way snowest is getting I may do a thread on BCR instead of here) my goal was to make it appear as a complete custom tunnel (I like vanambergs idea's just not the finished look theirs came out with(looks bannanaed to me from the side due to the way the frt angles down while the rear is straight)heres a few more pics of mine..hopefuly will have it ready for color this weekend....
