Johnson: [notices Dr. Evil's spaceship on radar] Colonel, you better take a look at this radar.
Colonel: What is it, son?
Johnson: I don't know, sir, but it looks like a giant--
Jet Pilot: Dick!
Dick: Yeah?
Jet Pilot: Take a look outta starboard.
Dick: Oh, my God! It looks like a huge--
Bird-Watching Woman: Pecker!
Bird-Watching Man: [raising binoculars] Oh, where?
Bird-Watching Woman: Wait! that's not a woodpecker. It looks like someone's--
Army Sergeant: PRIVATES! We have reports of an unidentified flying object! It is a long, smooth shaft, complete with--
Baseball Umpire: 2 balls!
[looks up from game]
Umpire: What is that? That looks just like an enormous--
Chinese Teacher: Wang! Pay attention!
Wang: I was distracted by that enormous flying--
Musician: Willie.
Willie Nelson: Yeah?
Musician: What's that?
Willie: [looks up] Well, it looks like a giant--
Colonel: Johnson!
Johnson: Yes, sir!
Colonel: Get on the horn to British Intelligence and let them know about this!

Met a few burn outs today.

I think the pilot's were still lit, could see it in their eyes.

:mad:Wish I had new machines to offer them some seemed like they wanted the whole tackle box!:face-icon-small-hap

Why's everybody in Puyallup ride a Honda CRF, that Yami YZ 2Moto kit is a magnet.

There's two new 09 XP 154's" across from us for $7,999.99, that's less than I payed for either of my 2002 Summits new, must be a fire sale!

Put some of that hickory scented fuel extract the guys in the main pavilian are selling, and you've got a smoker.

Perspectives...
Burned out sledder I am not. I am a burned out mountain biker who discovered motor-sport after a timely divorce :). I saw a hawk at the US open of Snowboarding in 2003 and I was sold. I did own a sled for one year and it was super fun, but I missed the bike feel so I bought one without a test ride in 2007. Really are awesome machines and suit bikers better and I wouldn't expect someone who rides quads to like one.
I say that with no intention to start something, this rivalry between one and two skiers is not unlike the skier/snowboarder conflict of the early 90's and if you really want to stretch the analogy its a lot like racism (Hawks being the African Americans :) That would make me Bubba yeah! I love his 2010 YX450F!).Its about hate and its laughable and a bit childish. Please don't take any of this too seriously, you see I am a skier (that snowboards too) that works at the largest snowboard company in the world! Fun controversy actually. I have my "Hostile Work Environment Case" building for when I am terminated. CEO once told me I was going to get a pay cut because I saw me tele-mark skiing. "Ha, you will need to replace me with an Indian and buy him a green card." I said back to him with a laugh. I'm a programmer.

To each his own but what I have learned is the person who can do it all wins! So if you have never ridden a Hawk you are missing a piece of it "all".

Someone spoke of Hawkers REP on the forums, don't let our friend "Addict" speak for us all. He really needs an intervention for his addiction to the Snow hawk.

He means well but just isn't himself since ADBovion first introduced it. P.S. I dont actually know him personally other than this forum and the great information he has given me. Thanks Tony.

No powder here in VT so don't think about coming! This is one of the hundreds of fields I can access from my garage. No towing anywhere for me.

I think you meant Burnout sledders ride hawks...cause you gotta be high to give up sledding for hawking ;)

I don't claim to be a historian or anything cool like that....but history tends to prove common folk with two eyes tend to buy more of what sucks less, i seen about 6 hawks last year and maybe 10million sleds. Now math is not my strong point (so i could be wrong), but last i checked, 10 million was the bigger number:beer;

I, for one, am sure glad there aren't very many Hawks out there. 10 million is a lot of sleds out tracking up the mountains.

5 other Hawks out there leaves alot of good powder for me:face-icon-small-hap

"common folk with two eyes tend to buy more of what sucks less"

Its exactly what elitist skiers said about snowboarding.

Roughly translated: most people don't like things that are hard and unfamiliar.

Does that mean the more the better??? Must be how Obama got in.

So I guess these naysayers don't have motorcycles sitting in there garagefor when they get bored of there cars. Most of these people on here gave up their car and ride bikes full time.

Been gone doing outdoor adventures all summer and I come back to this....
This thread cracks me up.
See if I get this right?
Apparently a bunch of sledders posting they out number Snow hawks and only ride Hawks because they could not ride sleds?, therefore they rule? And because of this we our Burned out?
Seems to me that the Snow Hawks are a Threat to the Two ski guys and the only descent argument I've heard is that we can't climb chit?
I've learned if life that people start calling names when they have run out of good ideas to defend themselves such as "Only burned out sledders ride Hawks"
Wow that's deep.........I love to see the other side threatened by our single ski's......We really are making a dent.
So a little advice:
-Don't argue with stupid people;
They only drag you down to there level and beat you with experience.
