guess ac wasn't giving him a big enough trailer or enough free sleds:) wonder if he knows he just downgraded himself!!! will have to change his guide service name to burdants always getting stuck back country adventures!!!

I cant believe how many people are butt hurt over this, is he the reason you chose to ride AC? Did you really have to make another thread about this when there are allready several in almost every section of this forum.

Hmmm!

I don't think most of the riders in our section even know who he is, most riders came from the Twowheel world.

Anyways nobodys brought it up in our section, so your safe over there.

We still like Hot Pockets though.:face-icon-small-hap

if someone gave me sleds, and paid me to ride them I wouldn't care who's sled it is. let's face it, no sled is great without aftermarket help anyway. I'm sure Chris dosen't ride a stock sled often. anyways, congrats Chris, hope it all works out good for you and your family.:beer;:)

can't blame a professional for going where the money is.....bret farve?......me?, i traded companies because i could make more money to support my family and to be able to put away some for retirement......no problem with his decision, even though i would have liked it better if he stayed cat...but cat company is maybe hurting a little now, and if polaris can pay the freight for him, wouldn't you do the same when the bucks are on the table?.......even though i ride mainly cat, i have had at least two sleds form each of the main four manufacturers....would never buy a snowhawk, however...:eek:

Pure and simple a bussiness deal. Look at Motocross. Bubba Stewart on a Yamaha last year? Carmicheal, all of the greats have gone where the money is at one times or another. Even Blair Morgan a few years back, Cat to Doo... One thing about the greats, It does not matter what flavor they are on, they will always rise above the others and be in a class all their own. Polaris just paid alot of money for adverising, And Chris will still be Chris, only alittle weathier. :beer;

take it easy, personally the only person i care what they ride is me:) since i impress me more than anyone else i guess thats all that matters;)

X2.

It's like people are crying in their closets, wearing women's clothing and parading around the house with a strapon on becuase some dude switched brands.

I'm starting to think there's a lot of people living in their moms basement on these forums.

This is getting weird.

I hope poo has a rack O top ends for him.......I like poo a lot but the cat is way more durable for the abuse and after the beating poo has taken over the last 10 years on the 800/900 you need someone to make you look good:eek::eek:

WHO CARES????? It's like buying a Chevy after owning a Ford. It's about getting the best deal. Pure and simple.

cat has a history of finding and developing young talent and then knowing when it was time to move on. It seems they can sense when a racer has peaked. Remember Robbie Malinosky (sp?)? Yeah, nobody around here does either.:D I am actually thrilled that Chris switched to Polaris, I think that now I might be able to out boondock that motha!:p:beer;

He's a hired gun, a product spokesperson, and above all a business man. Someone says here's an extra ?? a year to do the same job for us, you'd be an idiot to stay where you are.

Besides, I think the manufacturer gigs are just income to float him through the summers. Say he guides 3 guys a day, for 4 days a week for 4 months. At 400/day per person (ballpark pricing) he's pulling in roughly 20,000.00/month for 4 months of "work." And that's JUST the guide aspect of Chris Burandt. Figure out what Polaris/Arctic are paying him, as well as any other sponsorships and you'll realize "he's doing OK."

Congrats to Chris for suckin dry every t!t he can while he can.
