Building a Ski Rack

Hey Guys, A newbie here , does anyone have any recomendations for towing buddies up the hill? Last year the arms burned using a water ski rope.
Thanks,
Neon

Lots of experimentation and this is the best way I found.

1) Long rope so you don't get hit by snow cookies

2) Take a bicycle inner tube fold it in half and put it around your bum with the bottom half on the bottom of your cheeks and the top half on your lower back. The tube stretches and takes all jolts instead of you

3) Connect the 2 halves with a carabiner in the front and then put the rope through the carabiner and wrap it around itself a few times and hang on to the wraps. This way the friction makes it easy to hold on but if you fall it unwraps and you don't get dragged. Don't tie yourself to the sled, this could hurt a lot.

Simple, easy, cheap, works for everyone in the group, been using this method for years and haven't seen anything better yet.......

Tandem (one rider standing on either rail) is the only way to climb. Anything else is a waste of time unless you are riding logging roads for long stretches IMO. Have a single rider blaze a nice trail to the summit, then tandem up.

Just get out there, start dialing in all your buddies to riding tandem. Practice on roads, take it to the hills, and be have the rider be prepared to jump ship when you tell them. If you get it down you can arch your turn on a good climb and drop your rider as enter the or exit the turn depending on the hill.

Seems scary at first, but it's actually pretty fun when you ride with a buddy that has the technique down. I like to cross arms over the mtn bar, that seems to give me the most control when driving. MTBshark kills it and scares the crap out of me everytime I jump on his sled tandem, he only lets you hold on with one hand and charges it. :beer;

neonsack - tell your buddies to get there own sleds...
rally out.. get to a zone.. then leave a sled and tandem up for runs..

CFR racks are the hit..

racks attached to your hood is pure idiocy.. serious? snomoboarder dudes.. u guys should rethink it.. roll your sled its toast!! oh and try to use a spell check on your site..

I am also not sure about the front mounting, seems that if you dug it boondocking you would catch the boards and bindings in the snow. And what about a rollover?
