Buffulo Pass

Well Pj you stick to whacking it, and we'll come out and ride your so called four inches ;)

Go ahead. you wanna waste time and money to ride crap go ahead. It was 40-50° up there yesterday and blew like a mofo. Have any idea what that does to snow?

And you'll find it comforting to know that the base went from 41" on the 29th to 33" this morning. That's awesome, it'll be just like SoDak riding. You'll feel right at home except 1300 miles away.

Everytime you think about saying something negative......stop. You seem to go out of your way to make other people unhappy alongside you.

We all understand clearly the conditions are not right for you to ride, but we ride everyday we can because you never know what a day will hold.

Im posting this from the allington inn as skibreeze and I are are sledding yet another day.

The snow is out there for those willing to find it. Keep the bad attitudes on the couch while we rack up the miles.

No matter the conditions, its better to be in the backcountry any day. Trails or trees are better than whining and ruining someones day....Have fun SOCO crew!

Yap, my brothers debated making the trip west to Wyoming. They ended up going to get the kids out for the same reasons you mentioned. We have all rode better snow, but I guarantee they had a great time. Sorry, hope I didn't make the little snow we have yellower....:face-icon-small-coo
I installed my new muffpot last night so bring on the hardpack, rocks, and sun! ....and a little pow wouldn't hurt either. Enjoy boys!

everytime I wash my truck it rains...so I figure I'll wrap my sled...that will surely cause more snow?

Just to clear things up, I haven't bitched about parking for two seasons. I gave up that pointless battle

I have a friend who works up on RE/Buff everyday and reports to CDOT and some govt agency that monitors snowpack. I'll take his word over Snotel stations that only work half the time.

Corey is right and I apologize. Just wrought with anxiety to ride, to really ride and the lack of ideal conditions are depressing. But people ask about conditions and I answer. Other people answer with nothing but total honesty. If you just wanna get out and ride, do it and have a swell time. I am a powdersnob, I'll admit it. for me, it's not how many miles I can get in, it's how much fun I have and how much I can get in the miles that I do ride. When the conditions are like this, I catch myself worrying and fretting about my body and my sled and not hurting either one on a boulder or stump. That isn't fun, kinda sucks it right away. I built my sled for one thing and one thing only. Riding deep and steep.

So I apologize. it's a new year and hopefully this messed up weather pattern changes soon. We all are getting antsy. So if I offended any of you, sorry, get over it and I'll work on not being so blunt.
