Have been meaning to get out for a ride and post a quick update but our new hotel has been keeping us extremely busy the last several months. Finally was able to head out for a ride up on Buff Pass today (Grizzly Creek Lot/Walden side). I was pleasantly surprised with the conditions...plenty of powder to play around in and a bluebird day! Was surprised to see that the parking lot was empty. Took a pic at the tower and it shows about 5 1/2 feet, so could use some more snow, but overall was a great ride.

Nice pics! I'll note that on the Poo chassis, there is no reason to ride with both feet on one running board. Just lean it over, it will go.

3-3 1/2 hrs from Denver to Walden, depending where at in Denver you are.

Hell yeah it would. It takes 20 min just from the highway on practically dry roads. I've done it several times.

DJ, you got Saturday plans? I might get out for meadow mashing if the little guy wants to go ride with his Daddy.

how long does it take to get to walden from denver?

We ride the sand up there in the summer and it takes us 2 1/2 hrs to go up to Laramie and down to Walden. Its about the same time for me to go through frasier because i live in north metro.

How do you get to the Griz Ck. lot from Walden? Never been to Buff Pass.

Head west hwy 14 out of Walden 10 mi to the Coalmont/ Hebron, Buff pass turn off and follow the county rd in another 10 mi. It takes me 20 min to the parking lot unless the roads are total crap then add another 10 min on.

Just wanted to say thanks to Dave and all his pic's: I gave him a call and lined up our rooms for the end of Jan. Its nice to have people running places like his that are into snowmobiling just as much if not more than all of us!!
