I have a friend with one, super nice rifle, very comfortable, though his is a medallion. I don't know if you have seen them but FNH bought Browning a while ago, they introduced the FNAR, a mil-spec sniper rifle in .308, claim 1/2 MOA with it, and all it is is a tweaked BAR action. Military is looking at them because they are super accurate but also very reliable.
I don't know about the WSM cartridges though....word on the street says that they are VERY hard on barrel throats, basically cutting barrel life down to about 25% of what a standard cartridge. Same guy has a 243 WSSM in an A-bolt, he's at ~350 rounds and it's looking like he will need a new barrel here real quick, groups started going to crap and narrowed it down to throat erosion. Any other opinions on this though?
