Broken steering support

I have a 2012 pro rmk 800. Can anyone point me in the right direction for fixing the cast aluminum steering support? I know you can't buy just that piece from Polaris so I am wondering if there is a fix for this problem that would be stronger than factory. Maybe someone has a thread already, I can not find any. Thanks!

You need a new rear assembly. You do not need to unbond anything, it connects to the over structure with 4 bolts. I don't think there is anything aftermarket available.

Just had mine crack a week ago on a 2012 800. Took mine to the dealer and polaris ended up taking it up in warranty.:face-icon-small-hap If you still have warranty I try that route. The rear assembly runs about $350 otherwise.

There are a lot of aluminum castings in a lot of different vehicles...from Caterpillar tractors to Lamborghini cars to Motocross bikes....

Not sure if it would be responsible to say that the castings are problematic because they are castings.

Tens of thousands of PRO-RIDE chassis sleds out there.... not an epidemic by any stretch IMO.

I've broken steering hoops on Edge and IQ chassis sleds... didnt make them problematic.

If we were seeing 100's... or even 50 of these on here broken... then I'd begin to wonder.
