Didn't he test positve a couple times? Wasn't their a family member that came forward and claimed to see him doesing up on Meth more than a dozen times? This is what I had heard but it seems like the story has been squashed.

It's funny that I'm even in this thread, but does anyone really care? It's not like he was a big name. He didn't even qualify for all the races. It is a big wound to Nascar. A sport that doesn't have the legal issues that other sports athletes have.

The biggest concern is if he really did this while driving. He admitted that his "approved drug" was taken while he was racing. I wouldn't want to drive next to a guy on drugs at 200MPH

I think nascar's story has more holes than Jeremy's. The stepmom says Jeremy's done meth for about 11 years. I don't think people recreationally use meth for that long. The people using that long are hardcore addicts, and Jeremy Mayfield hardly fits the profile of a hardcore meth addict.
