I received this letter in the first week of October when I still at the time owned a '08 D8. I was not due to pickup my '09 D8, with 2010 update, that I bought in May until the middle of October. I posted that I had received this letter then. Guys were questioning the amount of oil recommended for the tank premix as excessive.Why the delay in people receiving this letter? I also received a letter after the update was done on my new '09 D8. Did anybody get that one? Interesting how and when Polaris sends customers info?

I am assuming that the dealer processed your update kit when they completed the update on your sled. As soon as my update was complete I got a customer satisfaction survey asking about the dealer. Then last week I go the warranty letter posted above. I am sure both of these were sent because of the paperwork my dealer had to turn in with regards to the warranty service. People should get this letter when their warranty claim is complete by the dealer. Maybe one of the dealers on here can verify this.
