Brace kits still needed :(

What is the prognosis from Doghouse Motorsports? Totaled? Fixable?

Not sure yet, they have not finished looking it over, I'm pretty sure it's not totaled though since it's brand new it would need like 6000-7000 worth of damage to total it.But the s mod is back ordered until December 19 unless someone knows of a dealer ANYWHERE that has one to sell to me, I have called like 10 dealers so far with no luck.My dealer is also looking for an s-mod too.

have they given an indication on how many labor hours to swap?

Spending the day shopping with the wife would have turned out better than this.

this is what happened.. if ski doo built the a arms to bend with the force applied here people would be complaining when they bend after going off a jump now if the hit had been perpendicular with what you experienced i can promise the a arms would have folded.

There was a guy on here this summer that posted a picture of a s mod because his dealer ordered one for stock

A sled in our group had the same thing happen in Revelstoke this weekend it leaked all the coolant out as well at the dealer now, the a arms should bend first!!!

Big thanks to Brandon at Summit Motorsports in Bozeman Montana, they had a s-mod that they are shipping to me, So I should be back on the snow soon. The damage Estimate is about 2500 on my sled, not great but not bad.

I'm glad to hear that you're getting parts soon!

Looking at where the hit took place, do you think that bracing would have helped or maybe made the damage worse?

...out of the 2500, how much is labor?

Brace Kits aren't needed

Whether or not weaker A-arms or bracing the outcome would've been the same. This was just too hard of a hit for something to not happen. 20mph, that is a fast sidehill.

I'm quite disappointed in the fact that skidoo didn't make the s mod 5 lbs heavier and twice as strong. I saw a picture of another one that got broke. Not cool.
