The 3” is not garbage, it works well.
Yeah. I’m a 155 guy. Jumped on the only Boost the local dealer had available. Then you want a khaos.
They build a sled to climb and then get bitched at that it's boring. They build a sled to be exciting and then get bitched at because it's a handful trying to climb.
You have to make your own decisions. Your riding style and average snow conditions determine what you will enjoy riding. Can't just blindly follow the blind.
If you aren’t a real big guy I would think the 155 would be more fun in that type of snow. I rode a 155 3” Pro Boost that was a ton of fun. Can climb, can do bowties all day. That would be my choice. I have no idea how the 3” would work in sierra cement.my 165 is a pro, turned Khaos. very planted. I know I want a Khaos
i mostly ride northern sierra nevadas. snow typically is more dense, sets up fast. sometimes it is soft and deep
Works well at trenching and getting stuck. The 3" is far inferior to the the 2.75". I have been on everyone's snow and I can't find a single circumstance where you would want the Polaris 3" track. The 3” is not garbage, it works well.
Probably blew out the seal on your Float 2 before your wife took that pretty shot, hillbilly. The 165 is Super planted!!! ?

It is the most planted 160 something I’ve ever ridden. Just letting the OP know… beings he asked. You don’t have to be butt hurt about it.
Honestly haven’t done any true side by sides, but regularly ride with 163 3”s, they get around extremely well, don’t notice any excessive trenching… like a 280.Works well at trenching and getting stuck. MurphKyle buy both— not necessarily two sleds, but buy the 155 and a set of 165 rails and track.
I had to do that with my 22 Khaos boost (didn’t offer a 165 Khaos boost in 22)
I picked up another 23 165 Khaos boost.
I’m not a fan of the Polaris 3.0”— the 2.75” works better in our Tahoe snow.
